Ecodek is part of a new generation of recycled outdoor construction materials. Ecodek decking system is available in grooved, ribbed and smooth reversible decking boards. It is a very low maintenance material and that can be cut or crafted just like wood using standard wood working tools.

Ecodek is engineered for life in the great outdoors. The composite material has a high resistance to UV light and termites. Because it absorbs very little moisture, it is ideally suited for wet areas such as marinas or swimming pools where it has obvious advantages of timber decking.
The decking boards are available in a variety of colours including the natural tones of hardwood and more contrasting colours for that WOW factor. As a UK manufacturer we can also provide custom colours (please contact us for more details).
Ecodek is made from hardwood fibres and ultra-tough polyethylene, this makes Ecodek is a synthetic decking board that is as hard wearing as plastic decking and yet as beautiful as hardwood decking.
Low Maintenance
Ecodek has been used in many market sectors including schools, marine, spas, leisure center, construction and care homes. They are all attracted to Ecodek due to it’s low maintenance. Unlike natural wood, durable Ecodek deck boards take a lot less effort to keep clean, all you need to do is give the boards an occasional jet wash which will remove most surface dirt, heavier soiling is normally removed with a soft brush. Ecodek is a low maintenance decking product.

Going Green
Choosing our product won’t cost the earth as it is manufactured from reclaimed hardwood and polymer from recycled polyethylene, typically plastic milk bottles. Less energy is used for the manufacture of Ecodek than for recycled plastic decking resulting in less carbon emissions. Ecodek also has an in-built resistance to moisture eliminating the need for stains or sealants so there will be no nasty chemicals to leach into your soil or pond.
And since 2011 Ecodek has achieved FSC® and PEFC certification meaning customers can be assured that all the wood fibres used in Ecodek products come from sustainable and well managed forests for more details see here.
