Ecodek is part of a new generation of recycled outdoor construction materials. Ecodek decking system is available in grooved, ribbed and smooth decking boards and it is a great alternative to timber, IPE or teak decking. It is a very low maintenance material that can be cut, crafted and sanded just like wood but can then be left alone whilst you enjoy!
Outdoor Living
Ecodek is engineered for life in the great outdoors. The composite material has a high resistance to UV light and termites. Because of its slip resistance it is ideally suited for wet areas such as marinas or swimming pools and has the added benefit of not rotting!
The decking boards are available in a variety of colours including the natural tones of hardwood and more contrasting colours for that WOW factor. As a UK manufacturer we can also provide custom colours (please contact us for more details).
Ecodek is made from hardwood fibres and ultra-tough polyethylene, this makes Ecodek is a synthetic decking board that is as hard wearing as plastic decking and yet as beautiful as hardwood decking.
Low Maintenance
Cut it, craft it, or sand it just like wood but then leave it alone. Unlike natural wood, durable Ecodek deck boards require just the occasional clean to keep them looking beautiful.
Ecodek is like PVC plastic decking in that its a low maintenance decking product.

Going Green
Choosing our product won’t cost the earth as it is manufactured from reclaimed hardwood and polymer from recycled plastic milk cartons. Less energy is used to manufacture Ecodek than for recycled plastic decking therefore less carbon emissions are produced. Ecodek also has an in-built resistance to moisture eliminating the need for stains or sealants so there will be no nasty chemicals to leach into your soil or pond.
And as of 2011 Ecodek achieved FSC® and PEFC certification meaning customers can be assured that all the wood fibres used in Ecodek products come from sustainable and well managed forests for more details see here.
