D1 Decking Solutions Ltd was commissioned to create a 190m₂ new aluminium walkway at Queensborough School in Kent. The new walkway was to replace an old concrete structure which was deemed unsafe.
D1 Decking selected Adek Comfort Grip due to its non combustible properties, durability and slip resistance. The deck boards were fitted into a steel frame which were then affixed to the walls of the school, enabling students to access classrooms easily and safely.
In addition to being safe, the anthracite grey decking also looked stylish, adding a modern twist to the existing school building.
