Ai Decking’s brief was to replace an old wooden deck, balustrade and open pergola to provide:
- Multiple sections and levels
- Space for entertaining, increasing the usability during differing British weather conditions
- Kitchen and bar area
- Sitting area with unrestricted views across open countryside
- A matching log and bin store
- A low maintenance solution
A raised platform was built to overlook the countryside with clear glass balustrades to optimise the views and a large gazebo to provide shelter from rain.
The sunken hexagonal firepit with smoked glass was added for protection from the wind on colder evenings, and the covered bar and BBQ area allowed food to be prepared and served, surrounded by friends and family in all kinds of weather.
A1 Decking’s customer opted for our Heritage woodgrain decking collection, in both Pebble Grey and Midnight Black, to create a stunning contrasting effect.
