Discover Parks is a collection of three, family-run, 5-star static caravan and touring caravan parks, situated in North Herefordshire and on the Welsh borders. Owned and operated by Glenn and Hannah Jones, Discover Parks is dedicated to preserving the natural beauty of its surroundings.
For the past seven years, Discover Parks has used Ecodek deck boards and composite profiles to build decking and balustrades for caravans and lodges across all three sites.
The team has a programme of works to replace all timber decking with composite, which is more eco-friendly, being made from sustainably-sourced wood fibres and recycled plastic.
The installation process is both efficient and environmentally conscious. Signature AT deck boards in Pecan Brown, along with 24 and 95mm composite profiles and fascia boards, are delivered to their workshop. There, the team builds and assembles the decks and balustrades, which are then installed on caravans and lodges with minimal operational disruption.
Additionally, Discover Parks takes advantage of Ecodek’s innovative Waste Buy Back service, returning off-cuts of composite material to be recycled and reintegrated into the manufacturing process. This closed-loop approach further supports the parks’ sustainability goals.
