Hidden decking clips for composite boards
Enhance the appearance of your deck with our hidden clips, specially designed for our capped decking collection.
Made up of a clip and a fastener, our hidden clip system works by:
- Clipping the fastener into grooves which run down the side of the deck board
- Screwing the clip into the frame support joist
Both the fastener and the clip are hidden away, minimising the appearance of the fixing.

What size screws do I need for my decking?
The size of the screw you need to fix your deck depends on the type of board you’ve chosen. Always check the manufacturer’s installation guidance for the recommended size screw.
Fitting uncapped deck boards from Ecodek? As a rule, use stainless steel screws with a length of 53mm or 63mm. For other applications, we offer:
- 38mm balcony screws for steel that is a maximum of 5mm thick
- HD screws for any steel or aluminium that is thicker than 5mm

What colours do composite deck screws come in?
Standard deck screws tend to be silver, ideal if you’d like a contrast between the fixings and board colour.
